reflection

Brief: focus on 2 or more unrelated objects and create a relationship through photography that was not previously there.

I decided to try link my unrelated photos through reflection and the way they are framed. this one is my little brother. the image is split in half where the reflections meet and he is framed to the side rather than in the middle. i think it gives it an interesting composition. there is also pattern beeing formed where the reflections meet.

experimenting with useing photos i had already taken and placing a mirror in juxtopisition while taking another photo of the original and the reflection in the mirror. this is very abstract but is of a butterfly in my window which has been distorted through editing, different camera settings and reflection in this.

i tried to achieve the same compostion in theese too. quite simple the reflection line runs through the middle of the image.

some of theese still carry a simular compostiton in the way part of the image is situated on one side leaving a mass of clear space one side like the one of my brother. theese arnt clearly linkable though as you cant see a realtationship of reflection. but it is a reflection of some lights in my window and useing the movement of my camera i got the result of curvey lines and sweeps of colour.

depending on different moovements of the camera i achieved a veriety of patterns and lines
